Who Owes Whom: Restaurants does not require you to create an account. All data you enter — participant names, bill amounts, and split calculations — is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect or transmit this information to our servers.
When you use our app, we may automatically collect certain non-personal technical data, including: device type and operating system version, app version, crash reports and diagnostic data (via Firebase Crashlytics or similar), and anonymous usage statistics. This data helps us improve the app's performance and stability.
Who Owes Whom: Restaurants is completely free with no in-app purchases. We do not process any payments and do not collect any payment information.
We use the information we collect to: • Provide and maintain the app's functionality • Detect and fix bugs and crashes • Analyze app usage to improve user experience • Respond to your support requests We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
All your bill calculations and participant data are stored locally on your device using the app's local database. This means: • Your data never leaves your device • We cannot access your calculation history • If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently removed • We recommend backing up your device regularly to prevent data loss
We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics) to collect anonymous usage statistics. These tools may collect information such as how often you use the app, the features you use, and general performance data. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
Who Owes Whom: Restaurants is completely ad-free. We do not display any advertisements and do not work with any ad networks.
The app is distributed via Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms have their own privacy policies which govern data collected during download and installation. We encourage you to review those policies.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over its retention. You can delete individual calculations or history at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app will remove all associated data from your device. We do not retain copies of your local data on our servers.
Who Owes Whom: Restaurants is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Who Owes Whom: Restaurants is available in 13 languages and supports multiple currencies. Regardless of your location, all data remains stored locally on your device. We do not transfer data across borders because we do not collect it in the first place.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
